Tangolunda Golf Course, which is also know as Campo de Golf Tangolunda, has been hailed as one of Mexico’s best golf courses. Located in a breathtaking tropical forest zone & surrounded by three beautiful lakes; all concentrated in an area of 72.5 hectares! In total, the course stretches 6,851 yards down Tangolunda Valley to the Bay, and is a government owned golf course.

The Tangolunda golf course is the only course in the region and was officially inaugurated in 1991. Designed by Mario Schjetnan Dantan and Pedro Güereca, this breathtaking course features lots of open spaces, wide paths, and breathtaking scenic views.
The course offers a very relaxed atmosphere, and there is no strict dress attire required. Traveler reviews are mixed depending on skill level but on average - the course proves to offer moderate challenge and beautiful surroundings.
The first tee off time at the Tangolunda golf course is nice, bright and early at 7:00 am. The last tee off time to play a full 18 holes would be just after noon, but as long as you show up before 2:30, the club will generally let you play out your full round into the sunset hours, which in winter is usually around 6:00. The restaurant and the pro-shop close at 4:00 pm, but the bar is open later for guests just finishing off their round.
The cost of a round depends on which season you visit in, but is either 650 pesos or 800 pesos/person + 340 pesos for a cart. In all, the round will cost you about $60- $80 USD plus a caddie if you choose to hire one but this isn’t mandatory. A caddie is around 200 pesos. You can also rent a pull cart for only 115 pesos.
