Bahias De Huatulco

Santa Cruz Bahias de Huatulco Oaxaca Mexico

Bahía Santa Cruz, on the bay of the same name, was the center of a 30-family fishing community until development forced everyone to move elsewhere. Today the bay is a nice spot for swimming and snorkeling.

You can arrange boat tours and fishing trips at the marina. Dine on the beach, mingle with the locals in the central zócalo, or sip a cool drink or cappuccino in Café Huatulco, right in the middle of the plaza where the traditional kiosk should be.

One of the most attractive bays in the tourist complex is Santa Cruz with a length of 525 meters , soft incline, white sand, and tepid water. It has tours in tourist boats, renting of jetskies, renting of free diving (snorkel), beach – clothing stands, specialized restaurants with the best fish and seafood and a dock with boats that leave everyday to the different bays. The dock has a capacity of 3 cruise ships which makes Santa Cruz an important, developing, tourist place.

Established residential homes and condos are available in the neighborhoods called Sector A, Sector E and Sector F. There are a few Fonatur lots still available in Sector A.
